The Wild Goat Edge program (WGEP) connects its participants with education, mentors, and internships, with exposure to the agricultural technology industry.
OUR HOPES AND DREAMS
IN GRATITUDE WE GROW
We are part of a deep, storied agricultural tradition in Sonoma County. The Wild Goat Edge program was created in gratitude for our agricultural workers’ contributions to making our agricultural businesses and communities flourish.
The bright promise of the next generation is the driving force for us at Wild Goat Edge.
When daughters of agricultural workers are offered education, mentoring, connections, and internships, this will contribute to:
- Their upward career mobility
- Young women becoming more self-confident, financially independent, and stronger members of their families and communities
- A well-prepared workforce for local small farms as well as larger agricultural businesses
- Educational opportunities that may minimize climate change through empowerment of young women and sustainable farming practices
